About us
TIPD Is abbreviation for Turkana Indigenous People action for Development. An indigenous people organization founded in 2019 . TIPD works to enhance the resilience of indigenous pastoral communities. 80% of TIPD’s board of directors is made of indigenous pastoral individuals who possess extensive traditional knowledge, adhere to cultural norms, and are deeply committed to the preservation of Turkana culture and ancestral lands.
